Waiting for the things you've prayed for

I know I am hard-headed, and like most people, I want what I want when I want it. Like now! 

But that's not the way it is, and yes, it took me a long time to realize and accept that fact. But I've learned it all comes in time, just in his time, not mime.

I prayed for peace, I prayed for a new home, a new car, a business, more business, and a man. I've prayed for my purpose to help others from my writing. So many of my prayers were answered, not just answered but answered beyond my wildest dreams. I prayed for an affordable place for me and my girls to live. Instead he gave a home to own. I prayed for a way to take care of my girls. He gave me this business and has kept me going for 10 years.

I no longer worry about things I can't control. I pray and let God worry. That's all I can do. Besides, like my Bishop once said, is my worrying, my sleepless nights, my anxiety, is any of that going to change the outcome of anything? No, absolutely not, so then why do it? What's going to be will be, period. You can't pray and worry. 

And the other things that I prayed for that I am still waiting on? Well, I know they will come to pass, but it is not the time...yet. keyword yet. So I will be waiting, not so patiently (I am human after all and am trying to work at that) until these blessings come to pass as well. 

So today, my friends, I'm here to tell you that the things you are going through now will come to pass. The things you've been praying for will be yours, maybe just not in your time frame. Let go and let God. You can not change anything by worrying. Just wait for the things you are praying for.
