Stop Trying To Convince People 

We all have our reasons for doing what we do and the way we do it. Your reasons don't have to be in alignment with mine and mine doesn't have to align with yours. That's the wonderful thing about being different, we are not all the same. 

Therefore, your beliefs are yours and my beliefs are mine. Stop trying to convince people that your reasoning and beliefs are better than theirs. We are all individuals with different backgrounds and different cultures. It is arrogant to assume that everyone should submit their own reasons and beliefs to pacify your feelings.

That's like a French man yelling at an Italian man and saying. WHY DON'T YOU UNDERSTAND WHAT I'M SAYING? and thinking that yelling louder would make him understand a different language.

This is especially true now with politics. I am never going to change your mind, so why bother, why waste my time or my breath. 

I used to get upset, I used to fight with people who came at me for my opinion. Now I have realized that it doesn't matter. I am not going to change their minds just like they won't convince me to change mine. So why waste my energy on that, I will just move on. 

I actually say to my haters “Thanks for the love” just to annoy them. Honestly, does getting upset or like some people who down right get angry and mean, make anything better? Does it change anything? Besides your blood pressure? No, so then let it go. My grandmother used to say opinions are like assholes, everyone has one. I'm not arguing with somebody who is an asshole.

So today my friends, remember we live in America so that we can have freedom of speech, (For how much longer, we don't know) 

So for now we all have a voice and an opinion. If you don't like someone else's opinion, delete them, block them, walk away but know that you're not going to change their mind, so stop trying to convince people.
