The Similarities Between Trump and Hitler 

Now I know the trolls will come at me and say you “snowflakes” are crazy and that we are making shit up. (They just love calling people names just like their leader. We know, it makes you all feel like a bigger person)  

But facts don't lie.

What we are are going through now is exactly like what Hitler did in Germany. Don't believe me, go read some books. Oh wait, you can't because they are banning any books that make America look bad, even Ann Frank's book is banned. Seriously? Yup, unfortunately I am. They are even going after museums for showing the crimes we did to others throughout the years. Het, who needs the truth? They decided for us that we don't.

Did you not know that Hitler did that as well? Of course you didn't or maybe you just don't believe the survivors of the holocaust. Whatever the reason these are the facts like them or not, Maga! 

Did you know that the Nazis used political violence, grassroots campaigning, propaganda, and political scheming to destabilize the Weimar Republic. 

He went with, an us against them to win supporters, and then took power.

Trump has done the same thing calling out the immigrants and he shows, like Hitler, absolute certainty about his own genius coupled with ruthless determination to remove any impediments to achieving his objectives. Hello, he called the Proud boys fine people and said Hitler did some good things. I can't make this shit up people and yet you still voted for him again! 

Did you know that Hitler wouldn't let the press speak bad of him and had many reporters put to death? Trump, who would like to do that but can't…yet. He has also called out the press and went as far as suing them because he doesn't like what they are writing about him. He is trying to shut down news outlets and others that oppose him. Sounds like a dictatorship to me, doesn't it?

Anne Berg, a professor of history at the University of Pennsylvania, wrote that “These attacks on the press are horrendous”, but according to her, their implications are far greater today than under Nazi Germany.  

There’s no doubt that US democracy is in acute danger,” Berg says. “In fact, at this moment we no longer live in a functioning democratic society. The system hasn’t been fully transformed or dismantled, but we are literally watching the making of a dictatorship in real time, even if the precise contours of such a dictatorship are still ill-defined. The question is how much time do we have until the window for effective resistance closes.”  

Are we listening? This isn't about if it's coming, but when. When you start to ban books, when you silent the press, when you kidnap and send people to another country without due process, this is absolutely heading to Natzi Germany.

When you make it harder for poor people to fight back, when you are comfortable putting down others or wanting to take over other countries just because you feel like it, this is dictatorship. Don't be fooled.

So today my friends, and the people out here who are still following this administration, please wake the fuck up. This is not going to end well. We need to learn from past mistakes and not allow them to happen again.
