Owning what you do

I am big on owning your own shit, stand up, say I did it.
I made a mistake and I am sorry.
I raise my hand, I did this and then I ask, what is the lesson I am supposed to learn from this?

I respect people who can own their shit, who don't let their ego's stand in their way, people who aren't afraid to say they were wrong. That makes you a real man or women in my eyes and the eyes of the world.

People who tell me it was all their partners fault in the divorce, like they weren't even part of it, are full of shit.
Even in my horrible marriage, with all the things he did and believe me there was alot, I owned my crap I did.

Yes, I lied, yes I had an emotional affair, yes, I didnt want him to hang out with my friends. Yes, I checked out 5 years before the end and called it in, not wanting to fix anything just planning my escape. Hello, this was my stuff I did and I own it.There are two people in a marriage, you both did things and if you say you didn't, your a better liar than I was.

So when I watched #45 yesterday saying how this was all President Obama fault, how this one did this, and that one did that and how he knew nothing. How he ducked and weaved all the questions and then again and again and again blamed everyone but himself. But the topper for me was then he had an attitude with the press for asking him questions, he clearly didn't want to answer.

No, he wanted and said as much, only the nice questions from the reporters who were willing to blow smoke up his ass, it was then I lost it. Own your shit, stand up, be a man, be the president for Christ sake!

What now we can't ask questions that bother you? What now, will you will tell everyone to shut up and sit down like on your TV show because you won't own your shit?

I am sorry I don't respect anyone who thinks they are always right and then is willing to do anything to make you look wrong or look like an idiot just because you don't agree with them. Wait isn't that called dictatorship?

I am here to tell you, yes it doesn't feel good when you screw up, when you picked the loser yet again, when you get screwed over by people who you trusted.

And yes, it's really bad when you then admit it to the world like I do in my blogs but at least I am honest, I am real and I will get passed it and learn the lessons I am suppose to learn and you my readers will see that we are all not perfect and here I am willing to admit it for the world to see.

So today my friends, what are you hiding? What won't you own? Why is it so hard to admit your wrong doings? Take a stand own your shit and then expect others to do the same starting with the president.

"Be the change you want to see"

"And just when the caterpillar thought his life over...he turned into a beautiful butterfly"
