The Tragic Death Of Rob Reiner And The Horrible Comments Of The “President”

So we just learned the news about the tragic death of Rob Reiner and his wife Michele Singer, who were killed by their son who suffered from mental health and substance issues.

Reiner was a beloved comedian, producer and director of so many films that have been the soundtrack of our lives.

Reiner started as an actor portraying Mike "Meathead" Stivic on the sitcom All in the Family (1971–1979), a role that earned him two Primetime Emmy Awards. He also acted in many films including Throw Momma from the Train (1987), Sleepless in Seattle (1993), The First Wives Club (1996) and The Wolf of Wall Street (2013) and many others. He was also an activist and was a co-founder of the American Foundation for Equal Rights. He was not afraid to speak out loudly about Trump.

And as we were all mourning the death of this beloved icon, the idiot who's running the White House decides yet again to make it about him, because everything is about him in his mind.

He puts out this horrible tweet about how this is Rob Reiner's own fault that he was killed because he had Trump derangement. Syndrome, whatever the hell that means. I assume It means that he was against fascism and against a man trying to be king in a free country because if you want freedoms for everyone, you now have a syndrome in his tiny pee brain. 

Over the years, Trump has shown little empathy over the deaths of perceived rivals. He criticized Senator John McCain, Republican of Arizona, after his death and suggested a deceased Democratic lawmaker, John D. Dingell of Michigan, was looking up from hell. This man has no compassion or soul and only cares about what he thinks makes him look better, putting anyone and everyone around him down to make him feel bigger.

I don't understand how anybody is still standing behind this man and saying I voted for him. Because if you still are standing with him then you are definitely a racist, you are definitely homophobic, you believe in antisemitism. You are definitely against women, children, the elderly, and veterans that need help.  

Don't you see, he cares about none of that. He doesn't even care about the people who voted for him because he already called you morons, but you are still behind him. Saying yay, he's my guy! Well that really says a lot about who you are as a person, as a human being.

So today my friends remember what your parents said. I'll tell you who you are by who your friends are. So you're standing behind a man who has no compassion, no kindness, who hates anyone who disagrees with him. Who is a narcissist, a racist, a homophobic, a women hater ....well that says a lot about who you are as a person. 

But for the rest of us, we will just say that we loved and will miss you Rob Reiner, a true man who cared about others. Thanks for the years of joy you gave us.
