This Last Sunday Of The Year

This last Sunday of the year

So this was the last Sunday of the year and yes, I was at church. I had to be here this Sunday to give my thanks for everything that God has done for me. Not just this year but for all the years since I found him. See I am so grateful for him and for this church for they have changed my life. They have saved my life.

I can go on and on about all the blessings that he has given me but there is not enough time here. You can read all of that in my book The Blessing in Disguise Revealed in which I wrote about all he has done for me. And trust me, you won't believe it, at times I didn't believe it but it's all true.

The message today in church was to let God take it from here. We need to let go and let God. We need to trust God's word. We need to have faith even if it's as tiny as a mustard seed. This is exactly how I've lived my life since I gave it over to him. Has it been easy? Oh hell no, not at all but I held on to my faith knowing that God can do all.

This year has been tough, just because you're a believer doesn't mean your life will automatically be easier but I trusted him. I hung on to that mustard seed. I believed even when others called me crazy for still believing but I never gave up. That is crazy faith, faith my Bishop taught me, faith that I saw first hand from him and I learned to have.

I remember when I came here to this church, I was lost, broken and had no faith. I remember crying every single time I came here. But I kept coming, and God kept speaking to me through my Bishop. He changed my heart and my life.

So today my friends remember as this year comes to a close how blessed you are. How things could have been a different way. How others out there are praying for what you have, that alone should make you grateful.
So on this last Sunday of the year, I am here and I am grateful and I hope that you can look back over this last year and even with all your going through, be grateful as well. This is the last Sunday of the year, so what are you grateful for?
