What I learned from Tony Robbins Walk on Fire seminar part 2

If you've been keeping up with my blog you know I came to Tony Robbins Walk on fire 4 day seminar.

I can not explain how this has changed my life, in so many ways. I learned more about myself, my goals and dreams. I learned I can push myself beyond humanly possible, that I can overcome any of my fears, that I can change my thoughts in "a heart beat" as Tony says.
That it's up to you how you want to live your life.

So for the next week I want to share with you some of the basic lessons I've learned.

Saying this, I want you all to know nothing is like actually being there and immersing yourself in his knowledge but maybe I can get you hyped up enough to take that first step to change.

The first day we learned that there are 6 human needs:

1- Certainty

2- Uncertainty (Variety)

3- Significance ( How you feel in life or someone's life )

4- Love and connection
(Do you feel loved? Is there a connection? )

5- Growth (Are you continuing to grow and learn?)

6- Contribution (to life and the world)

See every person finds ways to meet these needs in either postive or negative ways but no matter what they find a way to get these needs met in some way.

We also learned that there are 2 things that make us change, these 2 things are:
1- Pleasure
2- Pain

But in order for change you must know that for lasting change, you need to have these 3 beliefs:

1- This must change now
2- I must change this now
3- I can change now

The past does not equal the future...unless you live there. You can change anything in your life if you want to.

You get to this point by saying enough is enough. That you are sick and tired of being sick and tired! That you need change because you realize this is not working for you any more.
So for the ultimate success you need a formula:

1-Know your outcome- (Clarity is power!)
2-Know your reasons-
(Why is this a must!)
3- Know what your getting (How is this going to change my life)
4- Change your approach
(You obviously need to do something different)

Here's the thing you first need to admit is what is it that you need to change, in whatever area in your life.

You must step up and own it, you must be willing to change and you must do whatever it takes to make that happen.

Believe me I know, I lived in fear, fear ruled my life. I was stuck in this horrible place not willing to move because fear gripped me and I was so afraid of the unknown that I was willing to settle for horrible.

It wasn't until I said enough is enough that I changed my life. That I overcame my fears and walked out on faith, realizing that anything had to be better than living the way I was living.

So today my friends, remember it's up to you to take the first step, you need to say enough is enough, you need to change your fear for strength.

I am no different than any of you, I am no better. I just decided I was going to take MY life into MY hands and make the change to be happy.

I walked on fire because I believed I could do it and nothing or no one was going to say I couldn't, only I could hold me back!
Step up, step forward, say you want to change, you need to change and then do it!
Nothing is impossible if you believe!

"Be the change you want to see"

"And just when the caterpillar thought his life was over...he turned into a beautiful butterfly"
