It's amazing what a year can change...

Its amazing how much your life can change in a year, just when you think your in your darkest moment, when you feel like you will never see the sun again, when you don't know why you are here, things can change.

When you feel unloved and unappreciated and you just don't have the strength to go on. When your sad and lonely and feel abandoned, it is then  someone will appear by God's  grace and help you get past that moment, to realize that you can go on one more day, one more week, one more month!

Little by little you pull yourself up out of the hole you were once in and start believing that  things might change. Small changes, then more faith, then bigger changes, a little more belief and before you realize you are in a new place, in a new space and you look back over the long hard journey it took you to get there and think I did it! I survived!

But then you realize no, not only have you survived, you are living a life you couldn't even dream for yourself, it is bigger and better than you dreamt of! 

See I know this pain, this despair, I was there and then a friend helped me. Two years ago on dark night where I was thisclose to ending it all, he pulled me back and made me realize I was worthy, that things will change and that little bit of hope kept me going, his kind words saved my life.

It's amazing how life can change, a year later I got to pay it forward. I wrote a blog to my "Angel" thanking him for literally saving my life. I wanted to tell my testimony for someone else who was in their darkest place, to be able to say "I know where you are and I am telling you to hold on, look at me... it will get better! I promise you in a year you will look back and be amazed!"

Well I got a message from someone I knew, they wrote to thank me, that my words helped them, it gave them hope and they decided to not end their life. 

But there will never be a need for thanks, I need to pay it forward, it is my purpose, it is why I am here, so that I may help others, that through my pain and experiences, I may touch someone, inspire someone, give hope to someone....see this is my purpose, it is God's calling on my life.

So today my friends remember,  this year make it your resolution to pay it forward.
You never know how your kind words, your smile, your friendship can change another's life....you never know what a year can change.

** I know this is a tough time of year so I will be putting this number out there for all that needs it...I been there and I know how dark it may seem especially during the Hoilday season, there is help, it will get better...I am living proof of
