Pursue peace

"The Lord gives strength to his people and he gives us peace"

Peace is a spiritual vitamin,
it is a freedom from disturbance, it's quietness, it's tranquility. We all want to acquire peace, it is the ultimate goal in life.

"Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, were called to peace and be thankful"

So many people today lash out because they do not have peace within. They are stressed, they are afraid, they have no faith and so in return, they have no peace.

Peace is something you cannot see, its a spirit, it's within oursleves.
Peace is so important in all areas of your life it brings calmness, stability and it produces great things in your life.

But here's a question you need to ask yourself, do you bring peace or chaos into an environment?
Are you stressed out? Or do you have peace through the storms? What are you bringing to your table?

I use to live in chaos, I use to be unhappy, I walked on eggshells trying to please someone else...when I found God, I found the strength to leave and it was then I found peace. I know God and what he has done for me, I no longer stress, I know now what true peace feels like and I will never live without it again.

"Make every effort to live in peace with everyone"

"They must seek peace and pursue it"

Don't worry about what other people say about you, don't worry about what others do to you...stay in peace.

"Let your heart be not be  troubled, neither let them be afraid"

God wants to help you handle your problem, God is going before you and he is going to fight your battles for you.
But you must turn it over to God.

Be careful who you follow in the world today, the only way you will be able to deal with life difficulties is through the word of God.

"The God of peace will soon crush Satan under your feet. The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you"

See there is always a message when I need to hear it, this was definitely one I needed to hear, with all that went on in the world these last few weeks, I said things I wouldn't normally say, but the message today said "Don't take matters into your own hands, don't fight them in the flesh, stand back and let God fight your battles.God's grace is with you and will keep you in a happy, meaningful and victorious life"

A victorious life is not a life without problems, it's really about successfully getting through the problems of life, when you have the peace of God in your life.

"I have told you these things so you may have peace in your life"

The one thing you need to have in your life is peace, it will change your life, you will no longer be angry, full of hate, of negative thoughts, even with all the drama around you, you will still be in peace.

Yes, I've learned this many years ago when I gave my life over to God but as a human sometimes you forget, sometimes you get overwhelmed and you do things your own way, it is then I feel my peace slipping away, it is then, I realize that I must step back and assess the situation and get back in line with my peace.
Because peace is a gift you can either accept it or reject it

So how do you get peace?
Here are 7 easy steps to help you:

1-Don't worry
2-Stay calm
3-Let bitterness go
4-Forgive
5-Create a gossip free zone
6-Don't argue with close minded people
7-Take a break from the chaos

So today my friends, to maintain and keep your peace you need to change, you need to remember that God has you, you need to give up worry and stress. You need to practice these steps and it's okay if every once in while you slip, you will come to realize what peace feels like and you will do anything for that feeling to return.
Try it today...find God, find faith, find peace.
