Standing On The Right Side Of History 

We are living through some rough times right now. The world as we know it has been turned upside down. Now many of us saw this coming, and many of us tried to warn you but our pleads fell on deaf ears. 

See I cannot help but speak out as I am a journalist, a writer, and an author. I live my life on the rights of freedom of speech. I have gotten to write about everything and anything that I wanted to. No one can stop me from writing about what I feel until lately. 

Now you can block me, delete me, or stop following me and that's okay because, at the end of the day, I will still write and speak about what I want to and what I am passionate about. I speak about all of this because I am worried about all of our freedoms, and especially our freedom of speech. They are canceling comedians for christ sake wake the fuck up people! They are silencing journalists and television stations. If you're not worried they will come for your freedoms next then you haven't read enough history books. Better hurry as they are banning them as well.

When we look back at this time in the history books I want to know I was on the right side of history. The side of human decency, compassion, and love for my neighbors. No matter what their religion, their color, or their sexual orientation is. I want to be taken home knowing I stood up and spoke out for those less privileged than I, in this fucked up world.

Now look, don't get it twisted I think the government needs an overhaul. I believe they are wasting billions of dollars. I believe there are some messed up government officials on both sides. I know that something needs to change and I am all for that. Let's clean house on both sides. 

What I am not for is cutting lunches for poor children, for some that is the only hot meal they get. I don't believe that social security which we paid into our whole lives out of the money that we earned should be a Ponzi scheme. The only Ponzi scheme that should be is that we should be making way more from them 

holding our money for 78 years without us earning and keeping the interest. Do you get this? We are begging for our own money that they took and held and made interest on for 78 years! How fucked up is that? But many of you are okay with that. 

I think we should have free health care and free schooling like every other country in the world. I believe that Veterans earned the right to get benefits, and way more than they do because they fought for our freedoms. I believe our government needs an overhaul but not at the expense of the poor, the elderly, or any other minority. But again you're good with that as long as it doesn't affect “your kind” or the rich and powerful. 

So today my friends I am here to say I will not be backing down. I will keep speaking out against what is going on and what's going wrong in this country. I will write about it, I will go to my town hall meetings, I will continue to protest, I will post about the injustice, and I will keep speaking out. Because at the end of the day, you better believe that I will be standing on the right side of history. I will be proud to tell my children and my grandchildren that I stood up for what was right. I fought to make change and to speak out for those who weren't as privileged as I was. I will not be silenced. 

Because I will be the change I want to see.
