Without faith it is impossible to please God

This is a question that so many people ask, what is faith? How do you get faith?

The bible says:
"It is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen"

Faith is that total trust, that though I don't see God, I still believe God.

Don't tell me that my God is not able, my God who parted the red sea, that rose people from the dead...dont tell me... he is not a miracle worker feeding thousands from one fish or turning water into wine.

Over and over, you see what he can do, even  today in church when a women who had stage 4 cancer and given months to live, she had faith, she never gave up hope and when she goes back to the doctor, they tell her it's gone, they can't believe it, but she can because she had faith.

Faith... you can't see it,  but you know it's there, faith the knowledge that he will take care of you.

For me faith is the calm when I was going through the storm, I didn't worry, I knew he would provide becauae he has over and over and over.

So how do we get this faith? Faith comes by hearing...ask yourself, what are you listening to?
What are you reading?

Are you watching people on Tv fighting and back stabbing? Is  the music your listening to putting down women, disrespecting others? What are you reading, horrible things about people?
Who are you hanging with? Negative people always saying you can't do that, that won't happen...

You need to hear the word, read the word, be around people who believe the word, it is then your faith will grow.

But let me warn you, always be prepared to make a defense against those who don't believe, those who will tell you it will never happen.

Come on we all know those people who said "Please prayers don't work, look at how long you've been praying and still nothing" or "Child please, that dream is way to big"
Or "Who do you think you are?That will never happen, your never get there"
These are the people you need to let go of, walk away, shut off that television, stop listening to that music that is not inspiring you, you need to change.

This is what God says:
"Let him ask in faith, with no doubting, for the one who doubts is like the wave of the sea that is driven and tossed by the wind"

All you have is do is change, change your thinking, all he is asking for is you not to doubt him, just believe that anything is possible with God.

So today my friends, remember as I always say be the change you want to see, have faith, let go of stress, of worry. Turn it over to God, believe and have faith because without faith it is impossible to please God.
