Let the fight begin

 As you all know with the news about #45 being impeached the fights have already started. We all knew that this was coming because God forbid in today's world we should have different opinions and respect them. 

No, we all need to pick a side, it's us against them and if you don't like my opinion well then I'm going to call you names like stupid, I'm going to unfriend you on social media and maybe even in real life.

 I'm going to take my proverbial ball and leave the ballpark because I'm such a child that I can't ever listen to somebody else's opinion and not get mad about it.

Please, give me a break... all of this is so childish. Hello! This is why we all live in America because it is the land of the free, remember that little thing called free speech? Let me refresh your memory, we all get to say what the fuck we want, to say what we believe in and what the fuck we want to because again, this is America. 

 if you have a different opinion than me, I'm not mad at you. I'm not going to unfriend you, I'm definitely not going to call you names or make you feel stupid, I'm just going to let it be and let you have your opinion. Truthfully, do you think that you calling other people names is going to change their opinion all of a sudden? Well then you're the idiot if you think so. 

We are all allowed to have different opinions, we are not The Stepford Wives… another dinosaur reference there. All of us doing, looking and acting the same. Just because we are different and that doesn't give the other person the right to be rude. It doesn't give the other person a right to put down somebody for their opinion or for that matter their way of life or their llifestyle or who they choose to sleep with or who they choose to vote for. It doesn't give you permission to demean them for what they choose to do with their lives or how they dress or how they look because we all get that choice. We are all different and that is what makes the world an amazing place. 

That is why we live in America because, at least for now, we still have that right, so why can't everybody see that for what it truly is? Freedom to say and to be whoever we want to be!

Why is it, especially lately that we are so cruel to one another for having different opinions? Growing up I always danced to the beat of my own drum and I taught my girls to do the same thing, be unique, be different, stand out, have your own opinion.

But that doesn't mean your opinion is right, the end all to be all. That doesn't mean your opinion is the end of the line or the law, it just means it's your opinion and in case we all forgot again, an opinion is like an asshole, everybody has one, that's why that saying has been around for so long because it's so true, everybody has an opinion.

What gets me is what we see in the behavior of #45, he is supposed to be the president but if you don't like his opinion he gets mad and jumps up and down, he'll even throw you out of the room if you're a reporter. Hello!!! What happened to freedom of speech? So now everybody is taking his immature stand, thinking it's okay to call women pigs, to say people are ugly, to call names, to belittle others, to make fun of people with disabilities.

And his blind followers are following his childish behaviors, his attitude of I'll have it my way or the highway for you. This is not the way a government official should be behaving and now the blind followers think it's okay to act and speak this way to others that aren't buying into his Natzi ways 

The way I look at it is, I don't care if your religion is different than mine,

 I don't care if your political views are different than mine. I don't care if you sleep with the same sex, I don't care if you believe in abortion or not.

I don't care if the color of your skin is different than mine, I don't care if you're in an interracial relationship or not, I'm not going to fight with you, I'm not going to call you names, I'm not going to the unfriend you and I am definitely not going to stop talking to you.

It's your opinion, it may not be mine but your entitled to it whether I believe in it or not. I am not God, I don't get to criticize your opinion, I don't get to judge. You do you and I'll do me period.

So today my friends let's try to remember that we live in the land of the free and we are all entitled to say and think what we want without the fear of prosecution, let me repeat that without the fear of prosecution….from the government, from anyone.

Let's try to be more tolerant of others, let's show more love and less hate…. Just think of how much better the world would be. 

And like I say at the end of every blog….
