I'm the Taylor Swift of blogging 

I say all the time that I am the Taylor Swift of blogging. If you don't know that reference you must be living under a rock, see every time she dates someone and they break up she writes songs about them. It's true because if you date me or ask me out and if that date doesn't go well, I'm going to write about you. 

I remember my girlfriend once saying "If you wanted someone not talk bad about you, should have treated them better"

Same thing applies in dating in 2020 and especially when your dating me. So as everyone probably knows already, I am not Willie Wonker, I don't sugarcoat shit nor do I lie. I can tell you that these things, these stories are absolutely true, as I cannot make this up, because even I am not that good of a writer.

These are all true stories of my dating life since I've been divorced for the last 7 years and I gotta say, the one thing it does teach you is to have a good sense of humor. It also teaches you how to laugh things off, and it teaches you patience and persistence, that's for sure

I have learned a lot of things in these last 7 years especially in dating, I've learned that not everybody has your heart. I've learned not everybody will do the right thing, like you would. Not everyone will call to apologize about not showing up for a date or not even own up to the fact that it may hurt someone's feelings. It also taught me that you need to kiss a lot of frogs before you find your Prince and even then sometimes you may not be the princess for him.

But I can't say that dating has not been all bad, after all I met my 1st real boyfriend after my divorce on a dating website.

Even after 7 years, we are still great friends and he is now my attorney. I also met another man that I dated briefly who wasn't for me but that I do call a friend now and during this pandemic, he reached out and helped me out, just because.

See not all that guys out there are bad and I hate it when women say that all men are dogs, that's like saying all women are bitch's and that I know that's not true. Maybe in today society we have too many choices, so we are so ready to swipe left and keep it going without really taking the time to see more. 

It feels like we're in this fake world where you're not really interacting with a real person, so it's easy to dismiss them. Whatever it may be or not be, in this dating world bubble, it is what it is, for now and we just have to go along with it and roll with the punches. 

The way I get over all this craziness is by laughter and the fact that I write this blog, so it gives me an outlet for all the horrible dates that I go on.

 I can even laugh about the fact that just in the last month I had 2 guys stand me up and one who I met for drinks, who was all over me like octopus's and here I am fighting him off like I'm a Kung Fu fighter. My saving grace was that the restaurant was closing and I ran out of there. He kept calling and texting me to see me again, it was then when I finally said to him that I wasn't interested because on that 1st date he was all over me and that just wasn't my thing, but I wished him good luck with his search. Well, he went off on me, calling me every name in the book and cursing me out.

Now I could be bitter because of some of these guys who act like idiots but lately I just have no strength, I just don't even care.

For me it's just, next thank you next…like that song by Ariana Grande. See it's not just Taylor Swift that writes songs about her ex's

So today my friends remember, it's all about your perspective, how you look at things and definitely in the dating world, how you laugh at it and for me, it's how I will blog about it, as the Taylor Swift of blogging.
