Hold it together 

So for me when I need a word, I go to church and God always answers my prayers with the word I need to hear. This Sunday was no different, the message was hold it together.

God says to hold on, hold it together because he got you. He holds all creations together. Your life is in God's control. In fact your life is destined to be predetermined by him, so you shouldn't be worried about your life or where it is going.

If you're in a season of worrying stop worrying because God's got you. He knows what will happen. So my question is do you trust him? If so then why worry? 

When you listen to others, or when the voices in your head tell you you can't do it, that you can't trust anyone, that you will never have love or that you are broken. That you are from a dysfunctional family so you will never have a functional family, you have to stop listening even to your own voice that doubts itself.

You must keep your faith in God, even through the storms, even when you feel like you're at the end of your rope. You need to take control over your mind, you need to hold on to the mustard size seed of faith. Just hold it together. So here are 5 reasons why you should hold it together:

1. Because God is holding you together. You cannot break if God is holding you.

2. Because your destiny is on the line. If you give up you will never see God's destiny for you.

3. Because you are built to last. 

Overcoming life challenges gives you strength. 

4. Hold it together because that's how you defeat your enemies.

Your enemies want you to fail, but when you hold it together, when you overcome, you show your enemies the opponent you really are.

5. Because it reveals your strength. 

Getting knocked down and refusing to quit gives you strength. When you have that I will show you attitude, it comes from being beat up over and over.

So today my friends remember that you must hold it together because you are so close to winning. You cannot give up. I know that this message was for me, I have had loss after loss in my life and I cried out I'm done! But God had this message for me and for you. You're not done, it's not over for you. Don't let the storms knock you down, you need to hold it together.
