Embrace fear

Treadmill Treats Monday Message
Embrace fear
This week is 2 years that I have gotten my freedom and changed my life...
I got divorced.
There is not a day that goes by that I am not grateful for that freedom.
So this week I am doing a series of blogs to encourage you to change your life.
And when I went to church yesterday this was the message I received, always the message I need to hear, always guiding my next steps.
I cried yet again because of how grateful I am that I am free!
"Your biggest victory comes from your biggest fear"
"You need to be filled with faith, you can't quit.
You need so much faith in you, that it overwhelms the fear in you"
Yes, this is what happened to me, I was so sick of being misrable, so sick of the put downs, the control, the jealously, that it overruled the fear, my faith overruled the fear, it didn't matter what happened,
I knew I would be okay.
I had just enough faith...
( all you need is faith as small as a mustard seed)
to set out on faith.
Yes, no job, just starting a new business, no one to count on, I was truly on my own after being taken care of for 24 years, this was going to be all on me.
Yet my faith and my desire to be free overruled my fear. I knew whatever I had to do, we would be okay...if I had to scrub toilets, it didn't matter, I would be free. I would show my girls it's never to late to change your life.
I know that this is my purpose, my writing and I know how many people read my blogs, so I know there is someone out there who is reading this who is in a terrible marriage or relationship who thinks they can't get out.
They have been told your too stupid, you can never make it without them, you are dying a slow death... this message is for you! You can do this, you can change your life.
It is never to late to step out on faith, to be happy, to be in control of your own destiny. You got this...ask for help, let ego go, join a women's group, go to a shelter, reach out to friends and family (they want you to be happy, they already know what's going on even if you haven't told them)
Join a church, a synagogue, Temple, whatever you are or believe in, reach out to them.
Take that first step in changing your life. These last two years have been the happiest I can remember. Yes I gave up alot but what I got in return is priceless...my freedom and peace and joy beyond measure.
So today my friends, step out on faith, change your life, believe in yourself because I believe in you...you can do this..I am living proof of it.
Be the change you want to see"
