Hands up and Hands out...

Treadmill Treats Monday Message 

Life is funny, on the way to church this morning I thanked God for all my blessings, for all he's done for me and continues to do for me.

And even though its a tough place right now in my life, I am still believing that he will do all I asked for, that he will fulfill this purpose he gave me. I even said I have no doubt what you are going to do in my life, I know it will be. And I do....I have sick faith, crazy faith that it will happen.

And then I come to church and this is what the Pastor is talking about..sometimes God gives us signs to reinforce our faith..this was one of those times.

There are two things that we all need to do every day we need to put our:

Hands up- To give praise to God.

Hands out- Because you are expecting your blessings, because you have faith in him.

Just what I was doing on the ride to church... I can't make this up if I tired.

See no matter what we are going through we need to give thanks for the here and now, for all we do have.
And we also need to have blind faith in the things we have asked for, to know it is coming, to believe even if it seems impossible.

You don't realize it but your about to step into something big, so don't worry about the struggles you are going through now, you will make it, you are so close to your breakthrough, you just don't realize how close you really are.

The one thing you have to know is you can not take your eyes off God, no matter how you feel right now, keep your eyes on Gods promises, just finish the race.

Even when you fall down, even when you think you can't do it, just raise your hands to God, get back up and finish the race.

This is how it works, when stuff is coming at you, when everything is going wrong, that is how the enemy attacks you and he will start with your finances.

When your finances are attacked, it then takes away your peace, when your peace is gone, then your health will start to fail because your worried all the time, your stressed.
The stress effects your family, your angry and your mad all the time, you blame others then finally your marriage starts to crumble because your always fighting over all your problems.

See this is how he does it, this is how your faith is broken down, one step at a time.

But you have to understand, you have the key to sucess, you can change things. Its your praise and your graduite that will always give you the victory.

God will never send you into a battle and let you come out of it empty handed. Don't fight for free!!
Know what God has for you, believe it is coming to you, even when your in the darkest places hold on to that.

The cloud that are hanging over you is is temporary.

The rain will be over soon and the sun will shine...after the storm there is always the rainbow.

Yes, my friends, It might be bad right now but all you have to do is put your hands up and give thanks for what you do have, then put your hands out and wait for the blessings you asked for and believe they are coming because they are, they are.
