Being open to learning lessons 

I say it all the time, and I've learned more lessons in the last ten years than I've learned in my whole life.

The reason is that I was open to learning. I decided that I needed to change, and in order to change, I needed to be open to learning new things.

Change is hard as hell, and it's scary, but we must step out of our boxes and face fear head-on. Sometimes, we blame life. We blame people for the hard times we go through. But many people will never look for the lessons in these hard times.

They will continue to blame things.

One of my favorite sayings is that it's not what's happening to you but for you. This is the way we must look at the things that happen in our lives. Many times, it is for a lesson, but being human, we are only in our feelings, thinking, why me. 

In order to change, we need to take a long, hard look at ourselves. We need to own our own shit. We need to forgive others for their shit as well. We need to be open to change.

So today, my friends, I'm here to tell you that if you truly want to change your life, you must look for the lessons. Yes, it will be hard, especially if the lessons are something that keeps happening. It just means you are not listening. Be open to the lessons, and you will eventually be the change you want to see.
