Well, I thought I heard it all but folks, this takes the cake. As if dating isn't bad enough, we now have instant dating. For those of you who don't know what this means, I didn't. It means you meet someone out on a date, they see you and they either ghost you or tell you this date is over just like that. 

No, speaking to you, nothing. And no, this doesn't just happen to people who were catfished on a date, this is for people who look like their pictures as well. Seriously? Like wtf? Even when I first started dating and didn't know the “rules” like people should have more pictures than just a headshot. I met a man who was 300 lbs, he only had a headshot and yes, I was shocked. And for the haters out there, everyone has their tastes. Some like tall men, short men, built men, skinny men, or heavy men. 

I happen to love to be active and want a man who will be able to do that with me, that is my preference. Why can't everyone just be upfront, be honest, and don't omit things? Even still, I went on the date with him. 

I could never have just ghosted him or “instant date” him, that is just cruel and horrible. 

This world is getting worse and worse by the minute. People no longer care about anyone else's feelings but their own. No wonder more women are staying single or switching sides because of men like this. Men who ghost you or expect you to come to their homes on a first date, or men who think it's okay to send you dick pics. This is not okay behavior period. 

So today my friends, I am here to inform you of the newest and cruelest dating trick of all, instant dating. But here's the thing, this isn't about you, if you look like your pictures and you show up and a man does this to you, it's a blessing. Better to know upfront what a piece of shit he is. This was a gift to you, a gift of showing you his true character and a chance to not have wasted your time on this horrible person. This is his loss, not yours. Lord, help us all in this new and cruel world of instant dating.
