Refreshing Your Mind

You could have advanced much more in life but you have failed God. He wired you to perform, to do great things but you hung around with the wrong people, you followed the trend of society, and you didn't listen to God's word.

 

You need to renew your thoughts or update your mind with Godly thoughts. 

We need to renew our minds, not be distracted by all the clutter or the noise. We should not allow the patterns of the world to distract us. It is not about the "likes or followers" that matter.

Do not conform to the pattern of this world but be transformed by renewing your mind. It is then that you will be able to test what God's will is. God is good, and his will is pleasing and perfect.

Sometimes you're not burdened with sin but with your self-deprecation. How many times do we put ourselves down? Do we not trust what God told us? Do we listen to the influencers instead of God? 

We need to be transformed by the renewing of our minds.

We need to believe that he can and will change things even when it seems impossible.

Here are 3 ways to refresh your mind:

 

1. Refresh your mind through the word of God.

2. Get involved in corporate worship.

3. Remind yourself of the global mission of the church and Jesus.

If you do these 3 things your life will start to change. You won't worry, and you won't allow people or thoughts to take over. You will hold on to that tiny mustard seed of faith knowing that God will be there and take you in the right direction.

So today my friends remember that even in these times when we feel like the world is coming apart and we can't hold on. Let us not forget who is truly in charge. God is always in charge. If you pray, if you come together with other believers and listen to his word, it will all be okay. You just need to refresh your mind with his words to be the change you want to see.
