I Write About What I am Feeling. 

I've been writing this blog 5 days a week for the last 14 years. I write about everything, nothing is off limits here. When I got divorced I decided that I would never hold back, I would never be someone I wasn't again. I was done with the lying. With pretending to be perfect. I was a hot mess and I knew others felt that way as well. 

I also knew that there is so much lying on the internet nowadays, pretending to have it all, to be perfect. 

But not all of us and probably most of them aren't perfect. So I decided to put it all out here. The good, the bad and the ugly, all of it and come what may be. 

I write about my life, and my girls. I write about my abusive marriage and my divorce. I write about dating after 24 years of marriage and all of the dates I've been on, lord help me. 

I write about all the narcissists and controlling men I picked. I write about going back to therapy quite a few times and putting my girls into therapy. I write about my drug addiction and hitting rock bottom not once but twice. I wrote about my suicide attempts so that I could help others. Like I said there is nothing off limits. 

I wrote about having my heart broken a few times then finding love only to have to walk away because we wanted different things and breaking my own heart. I write about not dating and finding myself. I write the struggles, the pain, the tears, the laughter, the peace and the love. All of it because all of it touches me and all of it affects my life. 

I also know that I am not alone. There are many of you out there that can relate to my stories and have told me that. This is why I do what I do, to show people that you are not alone, that we all have issues even if most people out here in social media land are lying about it. 

Recently I can't help but write about what's going on in the world but especially our beloved country. I can't keep silent about it when everyday I feel like my heart is breaking. When our rights are being taken away, or sit here and say nothing when others rights are being taken away. I cannot say nothing as other sexual assault victims are not getting justice and the rich are roaming free to ruin someone else's life. I cannot “stay in my own lane” writing inspiring stuff and not talk about this. You have obviously been reading someone else's blog because that is not me. 

I will not sit down and shut up. I write this blog for everyone, about everything. Sometimes I am inspirational and sometimes I just have to tell it like it is.

So today my friends, I am sorry to tell you I will write what touches me. What makes me laugh and what makes me cry. I will never sugar coat shit and I will always tell it like it is. These are all parts of me, like I said the good, the bad and the ugly. I am just not afraid to put it all out there. And neither should you. Speak your truth.
