How Can Hatred Rule?

It's so hard for me to understand how people can have such hatred against another group of people. Why? Is the whole race bad? Is everyone who believes in a different religion horrible people? Are people who fall in love with someone from a different race or the same-sex all terrible people? 

No, there are good and bad in all. In all races, religions, and sexual preferences, that doesn't mean you lump them all together and hate them all. 

Should we hate all white men because they are the majority of the mass murders in this country? 

Should we hate all Republicans because of the bozo running our country? Should we hate all priests because of the ones who sexually assault our children? Should we lump them all together and say they are all bad? 

That's just ludicrous, and it's stupid. So then why is it so easy to do for so many? Why is the country so easily ready to jump on the bandwagon of hatred and separation? I can't imagine this as I have a united nation of friends in my life. 

I look at a person's soul, of who they truly are; it doesn't matter their color, their religion, their sexual orientation, or their political party. I judge you by if you are a good person, if you have a kind heart and if you believe we are all the same, that we are all God's children or whoever you may believe in, that we are one, it is then I love you. I don't base my love on the color of your skin, on what the majority of your race or religion has done or has not done. I could care less who you sleep with when you go home, this does not matter to me.

I refuse to hate anyone, hatred is a poison that you take and hope that the other person dies. It will eat you alive, it will poison everything in your life and everything around you. It will separate you, making you think that you are better than others. But what makes you better? Who died and left you in charge? Who decides who is above someone else?

We all bleed red, we all want better for our children, and we will all turn to dust when we die. 

So today my friends let us all remember that we all bleed red. Let's remember we all love the same, with all of our hearts. We all want the best for our families, no matter what they look like. 

We need more love and less hate. The only way to fix this world is not by separation but by unity. Love can cure all, if only we just try to be the change we want to see.
