In These Moments, You Get To Find Out What You Are Made Of 

Times are crazy now. I know there are some days that I wish I wasn't here. Yes, I just said that. As much as I love my life and am so grateful for everything there are some days that I pray for God to bring another flood to cleanse this earth of all these terrible people and the things that are going on.

Hey, you know that I am always honest with you all and this is how I am feeling lately. Some days I can't watch or hear one more horrible thing, otherwise I might just lose it.

Everyday in the news or on social media we are hating each other. This administration thinks it's okay to call others names or put people down. Is this what is okay now? It is sickening how they are trying to pitt us against one another. Instead of coming together to try to make this world better, it's all about an us against them mentality.

When the country has a “leader” that will never admit when he is wrong. When it's okay to call for the demise of the other side just because they don't agree with him. When it becomes normal to belittle or call other leaders names there is certainly something wrong with society. When you have to put down those who disagree with you or those who are different then you, there is something seriously wrong with this country and this administration.

These last few months have

really taught me who people are. I am saddened because people who I believed to be good human beings are showing their true colors. They have shown who they truly are. They don't care about the sick, children who are hungry, our veterans, families struggling to pay their bills, or the elderly who must choose between their medications or food. Never mind immigrants who are just trying to make a better life here just like our ancestors did. They have forgotten that WE ARE ALL ILLEGALS ON STOLEN LAND! 

No, they would rather back this despicable excuse for a human being and make him and his rich friends richer because, trust and believe he does not care about you.

So today my “friends” I am here to say I see you….

I see who you truly are and it saddens me. The person I once thought you were, is gone. The person that I once respected is now replaced with someone who is heartless. Replaced with someone without a soul, without a conscience or without compassion for your fellow human beings.

I truly feel sorry for you. Because one day we will all have to answer for where we stood in this. All I know is that I will be standing on the right side of history. I will be able to look myself in the mirror and say I stood up for what was right, for people who didn't have a voice, for people that didn't look like me because I knew I was privileged and I needed to do the right thing for my girls and for God. Can you say the same? In these moments we all find out who we are.
