Another date bites the dust

I have been single now for the last 4 years. The two years while I was separated I didn't date, I was trying to figure out what I had to own in my failed marriage and to forgitve him for his part. I wanted to make sure I was whole to start my next adventure, whatever that may be.

After the divorce I dated a young guy for a while and while he was alot of fun, we were both going in different directions. I then dated Mr. Con Artist and that about soured me in dating, for a whole year afterwards.

Recently I started to date again, here and there but I have to tell you it's really rough out here in the dating world. There are many "catfish" out here.

For those of you who don't know what catfish is, it's a person that steals another person's photos and then pretends to be them, they will hit you up, start talking and texting you but of course will never meet...no shit! They will keep you on the line, feed you all kinds of things they think you want to hear, for what sick reasons, I still can't figure that one out.

But after way to many of them, I have become an expert in spotting them and I no longer play games. If you hit me up we will exchange numbers, we will text a bit and then you have to call me, after a few calls we need to meet. I refuse to waste my precious time on something that may not have a spark or even be real.

I don't need a pen pal and after this year, I sure as hell don't need anymore "friends" No, if you want to do this, we will be meeting sooner than later.
Hello! Your on a dating site to meet someone, step up or step out!

So last week after talking and texting a guy he asks me out. Great I think, first step check, we meet and he looks like his pictures, we're on a roll here, he opens doors and is very polite and old school....oh this might be a good one I am thinking....
We start talking, we like the same things, we have the same mind set, he has a sense of humor wow...I am thinking this is almost to good to be true...

Okay people when something seems too good to be true, it because it usually is!

And this was not any different...we start playing pool and it is then he starts chasing me around the table, he starts to talk about how he really likes me and thinks I am sexy which isn't a bad thing but he makes it creepy.

He goes on talking about us being together in a relationship...dude..."We just met do you have a medium button?" I actually said.  "Can you dial it back some?"
He tells me he goes from one to a thousand... yeah...I kind of got that....

He all over me, talking about sex and how he likes it....I got the pool stick which I amthisclose to smacking him in the head with, between us trying to push him away.

He says lets bet, if i win you have to kiss me,
Oh Hell no that aint happening!
I think maybe if I whop his ass in pool, he'll get pissey like the other guy I dated once and back the hell off.

So I break, I run the whole table, I miss the eight ball, he shoots misses, then I sink the eight ball...he says "Guess you didn't want to kiss me"...you think??

Okay I've had enough, I run to the bathroom text my girls an sos message
"help a bitch out"
5 minutes later they are calling me and I run like a bat out of hell, out of there with the excuse I have to pick up my little one.

All the while on this date from hell as he keeps  walking away, to call someone or go to the bathroom, I am texting an old friend telling him a blow by blow of the night, so as soon as I am out of there I call him and we are laughing hysterically!

He says well at least you have material for your blog, well your a hundred percent right, it wasn't a total loss...anymore I think I am dating for material...that is really sad...

But I will keep doing it,  why you ask? I have an open mind and a positive attitude and yes, I am Tinker bell, I believe in love and happily ever afters...
So I will keep trying.

So today my friends,  advise for the crazy dating world today, keep an open mind, be smart and definitely have a good sense of humor because you'll need it!

Don't take things so seriously, life is too short laugh, tell your friends, write a blog, chalk it off, move on to the next, like I always say you never know... tomorrow your whole life can change...be open to it!

"Be the change you want to see"

"And just when the caterpillar thought his life was over...he turned into a beautiful butterfly"
