Can All The Real Men Please Stand Up

                                         Recently I talked about why so many women stopped dating and this may be the reason why. Look, I know there are many real men out there because I have many male friends who are wonderful men, and who do stand up. So, when I say this, just know that I am not man-bashing in any way. 

But I am asking why there are so few good men today. Years ago there were way more good men than lousy ones and now it seems like those numbers have flipped. 

I wonder if it's been since all the rappers made it okay to call women bitches and hoes, how they disrespected in videos a whole generation watched and thought it was okay. Maybe it's because women allowed it. They went along with it, just to get their 5 minutes of fame and got to bare their asses on a video.

Maybe it was because a generation of men were raised without a father figure? Was it because women became so independent that “they didn't need a man"  

Was it then, that men gave up because they felt useless? 

I don't know the exact reason or maybe it's a combination of all of this but there are definitely less good men left in this dating piss pool. Men don't open doors or pull out chairs for you. They ghost you and God forbid you tell them you're not interested they will curse you out or put you down. Trust and believe, I had both happen to me. Oh, yes, this is a whole different group of men from years ago. I now know why so many women are over the dating world and would rather be alone. For many years I wrote about my dating escapades because many of these dates were horrible and hysterical but after so many horrible dates even I gave up. I haven't had a date in over a year because it feels like there is no one out there even worth the effort. Look when you only date after church because you're already dressed up and look cute, you know it's bad out there.

So today my friends, as bad as it may be looking right now, just know that there are good men out there. I am still Tinkerbell and I still believe my King is out there but I still can't help wondering if all the real men could stand up and make it easier for us.
