This Time Will Be Going Down In The History Books 

One day probably long after I am gone, this time in history will go down in the history books. Just as we looked back at the holocaust and thought why didn't the Germans stand up or why didn't America step in sooner? When we asked why some 16.8 million people had to die under Hitler's regime before we thought, hey this is bad. 

If you haven't noticed this country right now is being taken right out of the playbook of Hitler and what he did in World War 2. And yet so many people are still standing behind 47. (I will never give him the honor of calling him the president, as that title is reserved for men I respect)

It's as if people are blind, and not seeing that our rights are being taken away every single day. He's shutting out the press he doesn't like, he is scooping up people who are protesting and shipping them off. He is arresting innocent people and shipping them off to foreign prisons (I don't care if you are innocent or guilty everyone, EVERYONE deserves a trial and due process) He's trying to intimidate universities to only teach what he wants them to teach but to give up students who are foreign or may have done something the government has deemed wrong. They are banning books from schools. He is cutting aid for the elderly, and the poor. He is taking away rights from women and from the LGBTQ community. He is making the poor poorer so they will have even less power. He cut us off from all of our allies. He doesn't care about global warming, our national parks, or anything else that doesn't benefit him or his cronies. He wants to take over other countries, seriously Wtf? When did America ever do this? And who puts in a bunch of 20-year-olds who weren't elected or even vetted to have control of our money? Hello!! People get a grip!! This is a takeover of our country. Wake the fuck up!!

Trump has also removed career government workers in all sectors and is replacing them with loyalists who will do whatever he commands without regard to whether it is legal. He believes what he said previously, “I can kill someone on 5th Avenue and get away with it” and 

“I can do anything I want as president,” And he is doing it with no care that he is violating the law and the Constitution. If this isn't heading to what happened with Hilter then you better start reading your history books before they are banned too! 

So today my friends, I am here to say that Trump’s time in office is characterized by his hallmarks: hatred, division, revenge, and chaos. And it is working. I will continue to speak out even with the threat of arrest as many of my fellow journalists have been jailed because we will not stop. I am willing to die for our freedoms. And if you don't want to live under a dictatorship, you better be too! If we don't speak out now we won't be able to be the change we want to see.
