Today Is Martin Luther King's Day.

Today Is Martin Luther King's Day.

And unfortunately, Martin Luther King would be rolling over in his grave today knowing that 50 plus years later, we still have racism in the United States and in the world. It's a shame that his words, his wonderful sentiments of:
"I have a dream that my four little children will one day live in a nation where they will not be judged by the color of their skin but by the content of their character,”

But we can't get it right, and I don't understand why, but we still can't get it right. We still think that because we have white skin we should be more privileged than someone who has brown skin or black skin. This is not all about that. It's about that we are all Gods' children. We all bleed red, and we all turn into dust when we die. This is about the fact that we all want the same things for our families. We want to be able to have a home and to be able to feed our families and have decent healthcare when we need it. We all want to be able to give our children what we didn't have ourselves. We want to be able to be good parents and good friends and good, decent human beings.

This is universal, this has nothing to do with color or religion or sexual preference. This is about if you're a good and decent human being and if you could open your heart and your mind to see that we are all more alike than different. Do you know what I see when I look at most humans? That there are many good and decent human beings. Despite their color or religion or sexual orientation, this is about loving someone because of who they are, not what they are or what color they are.

This is what Martin Luther King protested for and spoke about, how he was trying to spread the word of love and hope. There shouldn't be any kind of discrimination. Perhaps if we could see this today it would change things, but unfortunately we can't. There's definitely way more racist out there than ever before or maybe not.
Maybe they were all just all hiding in their closets until the right person came along and allowed them to be who they truly are. Then they found the perfect one in this president and this administration. It has shown us how truly racist they and their followers are.

So I'm here to tell you that we see. We know who you are now or who you hid for so many years until now.
We see, we see, we see… you. This will not be forgotten, this will follow you and your children and your grandchildren just like it did to the Nazis. They will write about you in history books, how your hatred wanted to destroy this free country.

This is what America looks like today, a country divided by the racist who are running the country and those who back them.
And the rest of us, well, we are just trying to get by every day, to be that better person, a decent human being which unfortunately you who follow him, know nothing about.

So today my friends like I say at the end of every blog, there is a choice you have to make, just like Martin Luther King said and did. It's a choice you have to make, and it's your choice.
So what do you have to do to make a change? You have to take to the streets, you have to shout it from the rooftops, you have to keep posting and reposting so we can call out all racists. Martin Luther King protested because they believed in their hearts for what they were preaching. So it's our turn now, we need to take to the streets, especially tomorrow January 20th @2 pm for Free America to show them we're not going to take this anymore and that we are united together. To show that we love one another, despite our differences, our color, our religion or sexual orientation. We'll take the government back and try to put this shitstein on the United States behind us.
To erase all the evil that they have done. We will do the right thing. We will make Martin Luther King proud.
But only you can be the change, so you have to do something. Do something today in honor of all that Dr. Martin Luther King did before us.
