We All Should Be Afraid 

Do I sound like an alarmist? Maybe...if you want to believe so then go ahead. But I have studied many years of history, more to the point, German history. 

I had to read many books about the holocaust and how it came to be. So when I am watching what is going on in this country I know that this has happened before. 

I can't believe so many people can't or won't see this. The problem is they don't teach this in our schools and now they are trying to ban the books that you obviously haven't read, so people won't know. One of my favorite things I read while I was studying to become Jewish (which BTW took 3 years of study) was a quote from a German Pastor Martin Niemöller, reflecting on his own and others' inaction during the Nazi rise to power:

"First they came for the Socialists, and I did not speak out—Because I was not a Socialist. Then they came for the Trade Unionists, and I did not speak out—Because I was not a Trade Unionist. Then they came for the Jews, and I did not speak out—Because I was not a Jew. Then they came for me—and there was no one left to speak for me". 

This is what's going on now, right now. They came for the LGBTQ community, and you said nothing. They came for the immigrants and you said nothing and now they shot an American woman in the face in broad daylight and still you said nothing… No one is safe and if you think you are, you have clearly drank the kool-aid. Sorry there is no other way to say this. HISTORY REPEATS ITSELF!! Read some damn books and you will know that. HISTORY REPEATS ITSELF over and over. 

This is history repeating itself. Hell, recently they are even using the same phrases that the Nazis used. Our country, our government is using old Nazis quotes. How is this even possible? Wake the fuck up people this is happening now, right now! 

And if you keep burying your head in the sand, trust me when I say that won't save you because eventually they will come for you as well. Read the books, Hitler even came for his own eventually if they crossed him or doubted him. He used people to get where he wanted to go and when you were no longer useful to him, you were gone as well.

So today my friends, I am not an alarmist, I am someone who studied the past. I am someone who sees what is coming and is trying to wake people up from their bullshit fantasy world of watching "influencers" on their phones. You need to realize that if you do nothing then you are complicit, and yes, you are to blame.

Because right now we all need to be the change we want to see.
