The Naked Oscar's 2026

I remember as a little girl sitting on the floor in front of the television waiting to see what all the movie stars would wear to the Oscars. This was the event of the year for the actors and for us at home. For weeks after we would run and buy the rag magazines to see the pictures of all the beautiful dresses. We would dream that one day we would wear such speculator dresses when we grew up. 

Well fast forward and now the Oscar's red carpet is a joke. Yes, I said it. There are no more movie stars, there are just strippers on the red carpet now. Who can wear the least of a dress. Who can have their tits or ass showing the most. It is sickening but what is worse is the older stars who are also doing this as well. 

Look, I get it everyone is entitled to wear what they want and I guess if the stripper look is what you're going for, hey then you're achieving it. I think you are sexier when you leave more to the imagination. These women were wearing less than they do with their Halloween costumes.

Look, I get Halloween, the one night we can all let our inner stripper out. But the Oscar's? The most important award show in Hollywood, come on, can't you even pull out some class for this event? Guess not, at least from what we saw the other night. 

I'm not a prude by any means and whenI was young I wore some head turning outfits but never with my ass out. And I get that if you are comfortable in your body you should show it but do you have to show all of it? All the time? 

What about your children? What do they think that their mother is more than half naked for the world to see. I don't know, but if that was me I would be mortified especially if you're an older woman. And yes, I know older women are sexy nowadays but seriously Gwyneth Paltrow with her woo ha hanging out on the red carpet? Please. 

So today my friends my question is is nothing off limits? Does anything or anyone have any class left? Or is the next thing going to be walking around naked? 

I believe women can be sexy at any age or weight. That women can be classy at any age without having their asses hang out on the red carpet. But anymore it's welcome to the strip show.

Let us all try to be the change we want to see.
