Opinions Are Like Assholes Everyone Has One

I will never forget the first time I heard this from my mom. I was in high school and was worried about what the “mean” girls were saying about me and she came out with this. I laughed but I never forgot these words. 

Because I had so many guy friends everyone talked shit about me saying that I was a whore. Even though I was dating my high school sweetheart for years and was a virgin and was saving myself for him when I turned 18. This quote put things into perspective, they were going to talk about me whether they knew me or not or whether it was true or not. It did not matter so either I worried about what they were saying and let it affect my life or I said this saying and kept it moving not caring about what they had to say. I obviously chose the latter. 

This has helped me all through my lifetime when people talk about my drug addiction or when I left my abusive marriage. No one knew the true story yet they talked as if they did. I chose to move on, not giving a flying fuck about their opinions. I know my truth, you do not.

Many people, especially now, have big balls behind their tiny computer screens and decided that their opinions are the end all to be all. These trolls have no life, they are too afraid to put themselves out there so they have to make themselves feel better by putting others down. By telling stories about you and what they think your life is like. Seriously? They have no lives themselves or don't like themselves and nothing will ever make them happy and you're worried about their opinions? Ha! That will be the day that I waste a second of my precious time caring about what they are saying or thinking. 

So today my friends remember there will always be trolls. Someone will always be talking shit about you. Let them. Just do what I do when they post negative comments on my blog. I say “Thanks for the love” with a laughing emoji. Nothing pisses them off more than that. It is literally telling them I could care less about what they have to say. 

Look, life is too short to be worried about what others have to say. Are you a good person? Are you trying your best? This is your life live it your way with no regrets and fuck them trolls. And don't forget opinions are like assholes, everyone has one.
