Why Aren't More People Mad?

I really need an answer to this question. Why aren't more people mad about what's going on? This administration is taking our constitution and literally pissing on it and then saying too bad on you. So why aren't more people revolting? What the hell is wrong with us? Have we lost all of our compassion? Have we lost our balls to stand up for what is wrong? Are we so caught up in ourselves or the fantasy life we live on social media that we can't see what's going on? What the fuck is it?? Please tell me! 

But seeing so many people that came out all across the county gave me hope. Especially in Minnesota, in the cold, they are there, they are standing up saying we will not take this lying down. Wake up people, this is the last season of the Handmaid's Tale when the Handmaid's finally fight back! 

All kinds of people came out, black, white, old, young, gay straight, Trans, all religions came together to say this is not okay. We will not stand for this. But not only in our own country, there have been protests on our behalf across the world, letting us know that they are with us.

That they see our pain and they get it. Many of these countries went through their own upheaval. 

After protesting myself on Fort Lauderdale beach, and many other places, I watched on social media the huge protests all over the country! Thousands of people came out and made their voices heard! I have never been so proud to be an American, knowing that when it counts we come together. That good will beat evil. That more people have love and compassion than hate. This shows who we really are, and who we can be when we show love.

But we can't stop, we must make our voices heard. We must protest more, we must stage walk outs, we must boycott businesses that think this is okay. We need to call our government officials, we must run for office, we must be willing to do the work for change. 

So today my friends, this is only the beginning, we need to keep the pressure on. We need to continue to show this administration that we the people run this country not the other way around. We need more people to get mad, to say this is not okay. Like I say at the end of every blog only you can be the change you want to see.

Let's change this!
