How deep is your faith

I have realized that all I need in my life is my faith in God. As long as I have that everything else will fall in place.

A Lot of "religious" people scare off other people who are trying to find their faith. They make it seem like you need to be perfect in order to find faith, in order to join their elite club.

So people think "Well I'm not perfect so this won't work for me" and walk away. Steve Harvey always says "You will never be perfect so quit trying!" And he's right, it's not about being perfect, it's about trying to be the best you, you can be, that's all.

It's about getting to the place where you can find peace and joy because you have faith and you know no matter what storm you might go through, you will hold on to that faith and know it will be alright.

It's about knowing that Jesus died for our sins and we are human and that all of us have sin.

Jesus preached love, compassion and faith, with these 3 things we can change the world.

If you have these things you will look at things differently. When your bad times come and they will,

(Just because you gave your life over to God doesn't mean your problems will magically go away) instead of saying why me? You will think, "What is the lesson I am suppose to be getting from this or this is just a test for my testimony" and you will not lose hope.When your business is not going as you would like it, when your salary gets cut, when you lose your job, when your having relationship  problems, no matter what you are going through you will stay calm in the midst of the storm because you know you have a deep faith and you know God will provide for you.

Maybe it's because you're stressing over your kids, your love life or your family. You don't know what to do and it's tearing you up inside. 

Some of you, you might be saying right now "Well, she's in a dream world, how can I not worry? Yea right, who's going to pay my bills, of course I am worrying, she has lost her mind"

When it's just the opposite, I have my mind and it is clearer than it's ever been. I chose not to worry about things I cannot change. Tell me, is it better to make myself sick? To worry? To have stress that is killing me? To not be able to sleep at night? Are those things going to make it better? Is the stress going to pay my bills? Will the worry get me more money? Is any of it going to change my situation?

No it won't, but if I keep my faith, if I pray and I know it will be okay, I might be in the same situation but I feel peace, I am calm, I can hear  God's voice about what is to come next and I am more open to things I have never thought about before.

Sometimes life has a way of making you slow down and take a look around, to make you appreciate what you do have, but it is all in the way you look at things.

So today my friends, I will tell you that my New Year's resolution years ago was to "Pray and let God worry" It is a wonderful quote from Martin Luther King, and each and every day I do just that. Try it, it is amazing how it can change your life when you realize how deep is your faith.
