Fourth of July Is Not Free Anymore

I want to state that I loved my country. My whole family is a military family. So no, I am “Anti American” but I do stand for everyone and think that everyone should be welcome here. Especially on land we stole. Also I stand for equal rights for all, not just some. 

Let's be real here, in case they took this out of the books they are banning, this land was stolen. We stole it, we killed and robbed Native Americans who were peacefully living here. So really no one is illegal on stolen land. 

Second, this country was built on the backs of people that came here from other countries for a better life. Most of our grandparents or great grandparents were from other countries and made this land into what it is today so then how did this come to this? 

The United States of America was great, it was number one but that is no longer true. Don't believe me here are some facts, and feel free to look them up if you don't believe me.

The US ranked the No. 19 best country for women, a list topped by Sweden, Norway and Denmark. 

America was also ranked the No. 42-51 best country in the social purpose subranking. 

Countries that top that list are known for qualities like embracing human rights, religious freedom, racial equity and gender equality, and for committing to climate goals. Which we no longer care about which shows in our ranking.

How about this one…

Year over year, the U.S. moved down six spots, from No. 53 to No. 59, in the open for business subranking, reflective of countries that have a reputation for cheap manufacturing costs, transparent government practices, a favorable tax environment and not being bureaucratic or corrupt. 

(Well, in being corrupt, we should rank #1 this year)

For example, the US ranks 17th on the Human Development Index, a measure of well-being, according to Quora. 

Compared to Finland who has been named the happiest country in the world for the 8th straight year. The World Happiness Report consistently ranks Nordic countries at the top, citing factors like strong social support systems, low levels of inequality, and high levels of trust. U.S. News & World Report also notes Finland's high scores in categories such as freedom, generosity, and perceptions of corruption. Well, we know why we ranked so low now don't we?

We are no longer number one in anything unless you consider that we are number one in spending the most on the military and prisons. Yeah for us! This is sad because we used to be proud to be the number one county in almost everything. But now it's about corruption and the government lining their pockets. That is what we are number one in now. 

So today my friends, I will not be celebrating the fourth of July while this administration is in office. Fourth of July stands for our freedoms and our freedoms are being taken away every single day. Our constitution no longer matters to this administration as they break all laws in it and try to tear it apart for their purposes. 

We are no longer the land of the free. France should come and take back the Statue of Liberty because her words are no longer meaningful here.

Give me your tired, your poor, Your huddled masses yearning to breathe free...". 

They no longer want you here and for that many of us are sorry.

We are no longer celebrating freedom in the United States of America.

Only you can be the change you want to see.
