If you want to change the world, be you.

If you follow my blog you know that I write this blog on the treadmill every day.
I wake up at 5 am and while I am getting ready I am always listening to motivational YouTube videos.

Two of my favorite motivational speakers are Gary V and Jay Shetty and I was so happy that they just did a podcast together.

They are two of the latest motivators that I love to listen to. If you know them you will know they are two different types of motivators.
Gary is crude, in your face, curses like a storm and of course is like me, so that's why I love him.
Jay is from London from a good family, he was a monk for years, he is soft-spoken and you know he has a kind heart.

Now some people either love them or hate them, hello that is life. But I realized that even though their styles are totally different they are actually talking about the same things.

What? Are you crazy you are saying right now if you know the two of them or even if you have ideas of who they are?

But if you really listen to them you will realize they are more alike then they are different.
They both talk about gratitude, they talk about giving back, they talk about changing and yet still being who you are.

They are both changing the world in their own way. They don't care about the followers, they are real and they speak their minds to make us think, to make us realize that we all have gifts to give the world.

Nobody is for everybody... so it doesn't matter if everyone doesn't like you, that's what they are telling you. There are a lot of people who are hating on them but they are doing them, they don't care about it.

You have to learn to be you, my favorite saying to my girls has always been "Dance to the beat of your own drummer"

You need to know who you are and be okay with it, no matter what the "world" is saying.

I know yes, that some people may not like me. Maybe it's because I believe in God, I go to church but I always say I'm human I curse, I am real, I am so not perfect, I am me all the time. I am not going to change to please anyone, I am who I am take me or leave me.

Just like Gary and Jay, they are doing them and trying to change the world at the same time, that is what I am trying to do.

Do what you want to do, not for the money, not for the fame or the followers just because you love what you are doing.

I been writing this blog for 7 years, I write every day 5 days a week and if I never have a single follower, I would still write. I love to write, it is my purpose, it is my passion.

We are all out there for the same reason, we want to help change the world. We all have a different way we go about it but because there are so many different people in the world, that's okay. So if I don't work for you, maybe someone else will do it better.

There are millions out there saying the same things, trying to change the world, to make you think, to send this message out. There is enough for all of us, so just be yourself, be real and you will get your message out.
If you want to change the world... be you.
