Sometimes, you just need to walk away
Sometimes, you need to walk away
There are times in your life that you need to walk away. It may be from a relationship, a job, or maybe even from some friends or family.
But you come to a point that enough is enough, and you can't do this shit for one more day, for one more minute or even for one more second.
This thing is suffocating you. It's killing you every day, and your soul is slowly dying because you are still there. Yet so many stay, they suffer, and they put up with crap. Why? Why are so many people stuck? Fear. Fear keeps you stuck.
Fear of the unknown, fear that you won't find someone else. Fear that you won't be able to pay your bills or fear because that person has been in your life for so long that even though they are toxic, it's all you know. Fear keeps us stuck in these situations.
But how do you know that the unknown won't be better? That being brave and stepping out of that fear will change your life more than you could imagine? We just assume the worst, and we can't see the good because fear is clouding our judgment.
Many little children are afraid to walk, but does that fear keep them immobile? Of course not, they realize that the more they fall down, the more they can get back up and do it again, and eventually, they learn to walk. Yes, you may fall on your face. It may be hard, and yes, some nights you will agonize over your decision if you did the right thing. But without change, you will not grow. Without taking that chance, you will be stuck. For me, anything had to be better than where I was. It didn't matter that I was walking away from a big lifestyle or that even if I had to scrub toilets, I would do what I had to, but I was no longer staying.
So today my friends, remember this is about your piece of mind, this is about your joy. No matter who it may be that is taking that away, you need to leave. Sometimes, there is no other choice than to walk away.
