A real Prince...walking away for the women he loves 

Now if you follow me you know I dated a lot of losers but this gives me and many women out there hope that there are some incredible men still out there.

Also if you know me, you know that I am a huge romantic. I am Tinkerbell, I believe in happily ever afters. I believe that it's possible to meet your prince and ride off on a white stallion.

So in saying all of that, you probably surmised that I am enamored with the Royal Family. 

So when one of my favorite actresses from the TV show Suits married the Prince of England I was above ecstatic because it gave us all hope that one day we can meet and marry our own Prince Charming.

Yes, I know it's a long shot but this is the closest we've come, think about it, a multiracial American actress, a "commoner" as the British would call her. Who would have thought? Now come on, if that can happen to her we all can have hope.

And if that wasn't great enough, this week Prince Harry of London spoke out and told the world he was walking away from the royal family because he was sick of the way the royal family was treating his new bride.

He was worried that what happened to his mother would happen to his family and he wanted his wife and child not to have been put through the scrutiny and the constant fear of that.

He is willing to step out of the royal family to do this, and the press is having a field day with this but he is not the first to do such a scandalous thing in the royal  family.

Back in 1936, King Edward was in love with Mrs. Wallis Simpson, not only an American but also a married woman already once divorced. However, in order to marry the woman he loved, King Edward was willing to give up the British throne — and he did, on December 10, 1936.

This shocked the world, especially the British royal family as no one ever thought he would do this. He spoke of her being the love of his life and he wanted to spend the rest of his life with her and did so until his death in 1972.

This is what a real man is ladies, he will do anything for the woman he loves, he will give it all up to keep her safe, to be with her, to show his love. This is a real man and apparently this trait also runs in the royal family.

For Prince Harry to do this to keep his wife and family safe and happy says a lot about the character of the man he is. 

As of yet they are still ironing out all of the details of where they should live and what part they will still play in the royal family but he has clearly put his foot down to give a clear message to his family and the world that he will not take nor allow his wife to be put down or to be treated less than and that he means business, even willing to step away from it all to keep her safe.

For all of us romantics out there who got up at 4 am to watch the royal wedding, we are crying tears of joy for this beautiful young women and the true Prince she has found.

Thank you Prince Harry for showing all the men out there what a true man looks like, for setting an example of what true love looks like and for giving all of us women who may have been burnt, hurt, lied to, cheated on, not stood up for hope that yes, Virginia, there are princes out there....

May the two of you live happily ever after....
