Letting the pandemic get to me
So recently while I was talking to a friend of mine, who reads my blogs all the time and it's always telling me how motivating I am. He said to me "Don't take this the wrong way but your posts lately on your Facebook page have not been in line with your blogs. You seem like you are so angry and yet your blogs are so inspiring"
I was a little taken back by his words, because if you know me, you know that I am passionate about a lot of things in life, there is nothing little about me except my height. I have a big heart, I love big, I'm passionate about my friends and my family. I'm passionate about living life large and motivating people. I am also passionate about what I believe in and how I feel and I am sorry, I can't help that.
I normally don't write a lot about political stuff but I can't help but to be outraged lately about what's going on in our country. To me it's just crazy that people have blindly followed a man that has outwardly made fun of people with disabilities, who said in his own words that women are pigs and that he likes to grab them by their pussies.Who has been married 3 times and cheated on all three of his wives but yet preaches Christianity.
Who goes around stirring up the shit pot of hate because people are not like him or his followers. Who will belittle people or put them down if they disagree with him including the press. Who gets mad when he is asked a question he doesn't like and then calls "Fake news!"
This man who is supposed to be the president tweets like a teenager every time he gets mad and goes around stomping his feet about it.
I'm sorry yes. I normally write about positivity and motivation but I also call things the way I see them and sorry, I am not going to stay in "my lane" so that I don't ruffle some people's feathers. As far as I know, for now anyways, this is a free country and I am granted freedom of the press, which means I get to say anything I want, inspirational or not.
Maybe people forget or maybe it's because they're not New Yorkers, and they don't know what he did to our state but we New Yorkers remember him well and how he took advantage of the system.
Let's take a look at all of his "accomplishments" shall we…
By the way these are not "fake news" you can Google them yourselves.
He defaulted on his loans for Trump airlines.
Trump mortgage company and Trump vodka both defaulted in 2007.
His clothing chain, that by the way was made in China and Mexico went belly up (but he wasn't worried about the Mexicans then was he?)
Trump magazine and Trump steaks, Go trump.com and Trump University all went under.
How about Trump Entertainment Resorts Inc., which filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection for the third time in a row — an extremely rare feat in American business.
The casino company, founded in the 1980s, ran the Taj Mahal, the Trump Plaza and the Trump Marina. This left millions of dollars owed to contractors, employees and other services he used while he was in business. Money that none of those contractors have ever seen again.
Let's be real people, this is a man that conned the world into thinking he was the greatest businessmen of all time. See I can't forget these things, I can't go along blindly following a man who does all of this and gets away with it because he is a cry baby billionaire.
I can't go along with someone who's trying to tear our country apart and not bringing us back together. I can't go along with someone who "talks off the cuff" knowing people are going to listen and follow what he says whether or not it makes sense. I can't keep quiet when everything inside me is screaming what the fuck is going on here???
Yes, I am motivational and yes, I always try to see the best in people and see the glass half full but I am also a human being with emotions and my own mind and I can't sit quietly while this is going on. I can't do it because I'm mad as hell and you should be too. Mad that this man is representing us to the world, and that others may believe we all think like this in the United States. I am mad that more people aren't mad with what he says, what he's done and what he continues to do.
So no, not today my friends, today I will not be "motivational" I will not be blowing fairy dust up your asses. Today I am as real as I can be with what I am feeling because this is my right and it is your right too, to speak out, to stand up and make a change. Many people didn't "bother" to vote, a right so many people before us had to fight for and die for, so many took it for granted and looked at what happened.
If you want a change, you all need to do what I say at the end of every blog and….
"Be the change you want to see"
And until a change is made I will continue as my right as a United States citizen to say anything I damn well please...motivational or not.
